bEHIND THE COLLABORATION
11 years of artistic exchange, shared inspiration, and unique collaboration. For over a decade, Stefania de Kenessey has composed original scores for Ariel Rivka Dance’s most recognized works, performed both domestically and internationally.
This November, ARD’s Seventh Annual Benefit Gala honors the unique artistic relationship between Composer and Choreographer. We offer a close up look into Stefania’s creative process and the journey from an original composition to a full choreographic language by ARD’s Executive and Artistic Director, Ariel Grossman.
This evening’s program will feature live works accompanied by live pianist Donna Weng Friedman and original poetry by de Kenessey. Hosted within New York’s Rubin Museum Foyer, attendees can enjoy an open bar, light snacks, and a community dedicated to supporting the growth and innovation of Ariel Rivka Dance. We invite attendees to connect with the core of ARD’s artistic voice, mission, and commitment to collaborating with living composers.
Please join us at the Rubin Museum at 140 W 17th St, New York, NY on Thursday, November 12th at 7:00pm!
