The cultural association "Col’Jam" invited Ariel Rivka Dance” to present “WHAT YOU WANT “, for the 10th edition of the contemporary dance festival LES RENCONTRES CHOREGRAPHIQUES DE CASABLANCA : "The Choreographic Meetings of Casablanca." The festival will take place from 16 to 20 October 2024, in Casablanca (Morocco).

This edition promises to be rich in creativity and discoveries, highlighting a unique choreographic concours for young Moroccan companies in addition to featuring 16 international performances from countries such as Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, and Belgium. These performances promise to push artistic boundaries and provide a captivating experience for spectators. The focus of the festival is to connect people and artists around the world through the power of body`s language. Faithful to its philosophy of artistic accessibility, the "The Choreographic Meetings of Casablanca” maintains its commitment to making all shows free and open to the general public. Despite the current challenges in recognizing contemporary dance as an art and act of change, the Col'jam company, organizer of the event, remains determined to support the new generation of choreographers and dancers by providing a "platform for young creation".

Col'jam wishes to promote choreographic art in Morocco

“Col'jam” wishes to promote art and cultural diversity and make it a permanent necessity in Morocco, among various populations, thus allowing greater accessibility to all.

It also seeks to highlight different artistic trends, and more particularly contemporary dance associated with street arts, graphic and visual arts, as well as music. Col'jam promotes creation, dissemination and training, its vocation is to lead a professional dynamic of experimentation and development, as well as improvement, in a spirit of artistic exchange.

Col'jam also carries out important awareness-raising and educational training work through various artistic and social projects, carried out in partnership with Moroccan and foreign cultural and associative structures.
