"My choreography is a result of both my classical and modern training and a love of technique. I am fascinated and inspired by watching a classically trained dancer explore unrefined emotions and movements in an organized structure. When this juxtaposition is achieved, it is the ultimate form of beauty and is my constant motivation. I use music composed by living composers not only to support other emerging artists but also because it challenges myself, and the audience, to experience a truly unique work. Through local community and family friendly performances I hope to give people their first taste of dance and movement in an inviting way."
